Well- so here is my first post in a long long time
On Saturday, my little brother, Michael, threw me a surprise birthday party! It was sooo much fun!! I was totally surprised and had absolutely no idea that anything was going down! I didn't realize how gullible I am until now...anyway- Amy, Cheryl, EJ, Alexis Gasser, Brian Marriani, Crystal Hodel, Hartman, and K-wal all came!! My brother Martin brought his other roommate, Steve, too, and then Mike invited the guy my mom keeps trying to set me up with, Tom, and he brought his friend who I stil have no idea who he was...Anyway, I got really upset with Martin b/c he brought beer- so Steve, Tom, Tom's friend, and Martin all sat in the kitchen drinking beer- and made everything all weird. But they all left pretty early b/c Martin and Steve were going to go gamble. Ugh. Anyway- after they left it was a TON of fun- Scum, Mario Kart, Slapper's only Bond, and way too much sugar!! I love my friends soo much, and I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came!! I love you all!!

So eat the candy you have in your country that involves rasins dipped in milk chocolate. I know it may sound gross, but so does peanut butter and marshmallow- and a Fluffernutter never hurt anybody.

hmmm....let's seeeee...i think the funniest thing that has happened to me in a while is this: Mike and I went to Chicago, not REALLY Chicago- Bowlingbrooke, last Sat. afternoon. I took him to IKEA- which he hated- but I bought a whole bunch of junk anyway! :) Then afterwards I decided that since he had to wander around for hours in IKEA I would at least treat him to a frappachino (however you spell that) at Starbucks..GAG me! If you know me at all, you will recall that I HATE HATE HATE the smell of coffee almost as much as I HATE the taste of it- so this offer was a once in a life time offer- and he took me up on it. So we drove around forEVER trying to find one. But as we were driving we saw the FUNNIEST THING EVER! This young couple were on a Moped stopping at a corner, but as they slowed down, the guy forgot to put his feet down to keep it balanced when they stopped. So they came to a halt and all of a sudden the back end starts tipping and the front then goes with it! So there is this Moped on it's side with the couple still on it, but sideways also, with one of each of their legs straight up in the air and the other under the moped! Okay- so it doesn't sound so funny when I describe it- but trust me- it was HALARIOUS! Then we went and got Jeff a CASE of Whitecastle hamburgers for his birthday. They smell SO AWEFUL! He liked them though; but let's just say that they call them "Sliders" for a reason....
Oh- and Amy- guess who sits next to me in my Logic class?? HOT RALEIGH!!!! Woohoo! :) He skips a lot though to go scuba diving...Who knew that you could scuba dive in Illinois?! I sure didn't, but evidentally you can! Oh- and I saw that creepy shoe-talking-guy. He works at Meijer....ewww. He just stood next to my car as I put my groceries in the back seat. I think he wanted to talk to my shoes, but I was wearing flip-flops- and I don't think they have ears....

SO! I'm REALLY hyper right now! I don't even know why! Anyway- Uhhhhhhh- today I slept in til 10. It was WONDERFUL! I get to do that- sleep in, that is- a lot now, b/c Linda told me I don't need to go into work until noon everyday! SWEET! But I didn't sleep very well b/c I woke up at 5AM and I REALLY think that I heard someone trying to get into my back stairway. IT WAS FREAKY! I almost peed my shorts! I was so scared, but I didn't have the guts to actually go CHECK- so I just laid in my bed frozen and pulled the blankets over my head. Yes- I know I'm a big baby!
Uh..then I worked from 12:03-4:59. It was pretty boring and uneventful. My dad got to go to Joliet today and drive a real nascar car around the track! He said he was really scared, especially b/c they strap you to the seat and everything so you can't move. Then he got to "cruise" around the track at a mere 150 mph! He admitted to me that it was pretty scary! He is so cute! :)
Oh- then I went to Jeff and Wendy's for dinner because I zero food in my apartment (unless you count ice as food). When I got there sis was literally COVERED in mud from head to toe. I didn't even recognize her! She was pretending to be a crocodile in a mud hole she dug. It was the nastiest thing I have EVER seen! Yuck! Then she took a bath and a BUG crawled OUT OF HER HAIR!!! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! It was SICK SICK SICK! I think I screamed louder then her! Yuck.

Nothing too exciting has happened thus far. Martin moved back to Champaign yesterday b/c his summer class starts tomorrow. I never thought I would say this, but I kinda miss him. I guess I don't really miss HIM, because he is kinda boring and is stinky, but I miss having someone to be bored with.
Oh- and at work on Thursday and this little old man came up to me as I was walking back to my desk and he said, "Well- you sure have a big, beautiful smile!" I just smiled and said thanks. But evertime I walked by him he would make a comment about how pretty I looked.Then I left work and went to the grocery store to buy choc. chips and the little old man was there! He turned down the aisle I was in and I smiled at him. Then he said,"Oh my goodness! It isn't everyday that a beautiful girl follows me around! Look- I have goosebumps!" It was creepy. I just smiled and took off. Then another old guy who works at IGA stopped to talk to me. He talks to me everytime I go in there, and he always says the same thing b/c he had a brain tumor so he forgets that he talked to me. Anyway, I was talking to the IGA guy and the other old guy walks by and gave the IGA guy the dirtiest look I've ever seen! I thought that he was going to punch the guy for talking to me! It was weird. If he shows up at work on Mon. I'm going to get a restraining order...

oh i forgot to mention something- my fish, peter, died. i only had him 6 days. bekah gave him to me at john's wedding reception. i fed him and everything. i don't know why he died. sure i left him out in my car all night long the first night when it was only 40 degrees out. then i left him in the sun all day long on my counter. may he rest in peace. he was a good fish. i'm sad...

well everyone- I'M DONE WITH SCHOOL! Yeah! I took my last final tonight at 6PM, but I had to pee REALLY bad the whole time so I didn't do so well. I couldn't think of anything except that I couldn't wet my pants. It was terrible! But the rest of the day was AWESOME! I woke up and made poppy seed muffins (which are superb!) and then I went to B-town and got my hair cut! It was fun! Then I had lunch with Cheryl and we went to the spa with my mom and wendy! I got a back massage while Cheryl got her haircut (which is supercute!), then i studied for my final while Cheryl got her brows waxed and got a manicure/pedicure at the same time! Then I got a pedicure and Cheryl got a back massage! It was pretty awesome! My mom and Wendy were there from 10AM to 4:30PM getting facials, back massages, pedicures, and lots of other stuff! It was pretty awesome! I've decided that when I get married, I am rent the spa and take all my friends there for an all day bachlorette party! I better find a guy soon since I have all the other details worked out.... :)

I'm so sick of school! I still have class on Thurs. then a final next tues and a final next thursday. Plus I have to create a website by next Monday. Yuck yuck yuck. I'm so sick of it. Martin gets done like in two days and Mike got done last Thursday. ARG.
I'm so excited for paintballing!! But I'm even MORE excited for Florida! I can't wait you guys! I'm so STOKED!

Today was so much fun! I went and got a pedicure with Wendy (her treat!)- we got this awesome nail polish with diamond dust in it that sparkles like CRAZY in the sunlight! Then she had to go to therapy,and I picked us up some lunch from Panara. After she got done, we went and got manicures! Then after we picked up the kids, we went back to her house and pulled weeds (Isn't that what everyone does after they get manicures?) Tommy, Sis and I collected worms in a jar! We had over 30! It was nuts! *Amy- "Worm World"*
Oh- Tommy learned a song in pre-school too. It is SO cute! Here it goes:

So I'm finally better! Yeah! Some funny stuff happened when I was staying at my parents house though. First, I got a call from the Army while we were eating dinner. The guy asked if we could meet in person to discuss my "career in the army". I didn't know what to say, because saying that I wasn't interested in the army seems so unpatriotic...so I just told him to call me back after I think about it. He started laughing and said, "You want me to call back after you think about whether or not you want to meet to talk about the army?"...I guess it sounds pretty dumb. Oh well. I was sick and scared and confused.
Then I was laying outside in the sun on Friday because it was so nice. But I forgot that the antibiotics say not to be in the sun for a prolonged amount of time. So, after being outside for about 2 hours, I got TOASTED red. My nose and forhead are still bright red, but my cheeks aren't so red anymore. My dad kept making jokes about me and then saying, "Are you embarassed, because you're blushing..."

I'm sick. I hate it. I had a sinus infection last week, and now I have some virus of some sort. I had a temp of 103 the other night. It is the same thing Wendy and Sis have, but it hasn't turned into bronchitis yet. It's terrible. The worst part is that I've missed a week and a half of school. I hope I can go this Thursday just to catch up on everything before stupid finals start, but I don't know if I'll be able too. This virus seems to be so stinkin contagious...I got it from Wendy after she had already had it for 4 days! AH! Oh well....Such is life.

Here is a briefing on my weekend:
Fri: Amy loves Buckey Beaver, while I love Manly Morgan!
Amy won tickets to a Rivermen game (they had a shootout at the end!!! Woohoo! JUST like D2!)
AND we got to go to a meet-and-greet with Efren Ramirez aka Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite!
It was one of the best nights ever- enough said!
Sat: Brunch with the Easter Bunny at Wildlife Prairie Park
Then back to crazy Aunt Leanna's house to dye easter eggs with Uncle Jerry
My cousin Stephen (the hot cousin) and I took all the little rug rats to the park by ourselves...
While we were there we had one wet their pants and almost had two poop theirs! It was nasty.
Then I got to be the Easter Bunny and go shopping for Wendy b/c she has bronchitis
I got the kids a guinea pig! He has a mohawk! It's SO cute!!
Today: Easter with the family
Went to Bloomington church with the entire family
Spent the day at the parents house eating candy and watching cartoons
Sis had to go to the ER because she had a temp of 104- only to discover she has bronchitis too.
The easter bunny brought me the new Rascall Flatts cd!
I got to watch my dad grill in a tornado too!
P.S.- Don't worry- Jeff told me what snipe hunting is, and I'm very sad that no one would tell me what it is. How terrible! Why would anyone even invent such a mean game?!

This weekend was a lot of fun!! Let me fill you all in on it, b/c i'm sure you are all dying to know about it:
Friday- Cheryl came over and you can read about our night together in her update.
Saturday- Cheryl and I woke up, made cookies, and went to B/N. We went shopping for a bit, then we went to a single girl's potluck with Amy, Lexi Haney, and Samantha Loy. Then we went back to EP for my dad's rockin concert! We tried to make shirts, but my mom printed out labels for us to iron on, and they were printed mirror-imaged. Then I accidentally ironed the thing to the iron instead of the shirt! (woops) But the concert was really fun! It was pretty crowded in the Depot though. I wish we had room to dance...My dad kicked butt though! He is a total rockstar! But he would get so embarrassed when he did a guitar solo and everyone would clap and shout! It was cute!!
After the rockin concert, Kirby, Martin, Michael, K-wal, Cheryl, Amy, and Steve (Martin's roomie) came over to my apartment. It was pretty boring b/c the boys were so boring and weird. But Kirby was halarious!! He is so much fun! AND Cheryl did a face plant when she was trying to do a fancy tip-the-couch-over move! Then everyone pretty much left except mart, steve, and cheryl so we watched Peter Pan and we all fell asleep.
Today- I went to B/N AC church. It was their Easter Program. It was pretty excellent. I saw Bekah's cousin. Then after church, Amy and I went cruising in my dad's Firebird convertible! We got two horns honked at us (I promise it wasn't b/c of the way I was driving!), at least a dozen stares, three guys tried to race us, and one college guy yelled "YOU'RE HOT!" YEAH!!! Then we went to my parents house for dinner with Martin, Steve, Andy Hohulin (Amy's cousin and Martin's other roomie), Mike, Jeff, Wendy, Tommy, Sis, and Russ (my parent's neighbor). After, the guys, Amy, Sis, and I sat around talking. Boys are SO weird! When they weren't punching eachother they were either playing with their lighters or a knife. They tried to get us to go Snipe hunting, but Amy and I were a bit too untrusting to go with them. I think it was definately the right choice....What is Snipe hunting anyway???

k-wal just told me that she didn't know where my butt ended, but she thought that it might be itchy- so she scratched my face....
then she told me she just found out that she has dogjaw, pointed to a spot on her jaw, and told me to feel it. then when I did she nearly bit my hand off and started barking like a dog....
she's so mean. "mirror-babies" are so stupid...
